Security
salesElement uses some of the most advanced technology for Internet security available today. This means that your proposal information is kept safe and away from your competition.
Your information's security is our highest concern. salesElement employs a series of measures to ensure the security and accessibility of your proposal software. salesElement follows a series of industry best practices to ensure the highest level of security for your proposal software system. The highest level of security is provided at both the application and server levels.
Application Level Security
When you access the software using a current browser, SSL technology (Secure Socket Layer technology) protects your information while it is transmitted from your computer to our servers.
Every user in your organization is assigned a unique username and password that must be entered every time they wish to use the application. seProposals provides encrypted information to that person's browser ensuring that they can access the service during their session. All information stored by your browser is specifically provided by seProposals to contain the least amount of information possible, and information that can only be used by salesElement to identify your account (but it does not contain your username or password under any circumstances).
seProposals contains a system of privileges that ensure only those authorized are accessing specific parts of the system. Logical separation of information and content ensure those with the proper access to the system don't modify settings, text, or other data elements.
Additionally, other best-practices were followed in the design of seProposals and the system is continually updated with more advanced features as the technology becomes available.
We take security very seriously, and as such our security policies are tightly held trade secrets.
Server Level Security
In addition to security measures implemented by the application development engineers on the application level, salesElement maintains a secure server environment that uses firewalls and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. This highly fault-tolerant network is housed in a physically secure location with lock-key access and caged for the highest physical, hardware, and software security.
